For the holiday, I played Magic in Hachinohe.
Long story short: I got destroyed.

Of course, I played Doomsday.
But I changed the deck.
This is what I played:

4 Flooded Strand (溢れかえる岸辺)
4 Polluted Delta (汚染された三角州)
3 Underground Sea
2 Volcanic Island
1 Tropical Island
2 Island (島)
1 Swamp (沼)

4 Lion’s Eye Diamond (ライオンの瞳のダイアモンド)
1 Lotus Petal (水蓮の花びら)
1 Chromatic Sphere (彩色の宝球)
4 Sensei’s Divining Top (師範の占い独楽)
4 Gitaxian Probe (ギタクシア派の調査)
4 Ponder (思案)
4 Brainstorm (渦まく知識)
3 Cabal Therapy (陰謀団式療法)
4 Duress (強迫)
4 Dark Ritual (暗黒の儀式)
1 Rain of Filth (汚物の雨)
1 Ideas Unbound (留まらぬ発想)
3 Burning Wish (燃え立つ願い)
1 Abrupt Decay (突然の衰微)
1 Laboratory Maniac (研究室の偏執狂)
3 Doomsday (最後の審判)

Sideboard
1 Shelldock Isle (殻船着の島)
1 Tropical Island
1 Void Snare (虚空の罠)
1 Cabal Therapy (陰謀団式療法)
3 Abrupt Decay (突然の衰微)
1 Cruel Bargain (残酷な取り引き)
1 Doomsday(最後の審判)
1 Rushing River (急流)
2 City of Solitude (孤独の都)
1 Massacre (虐殺)
1 Tendrils of Agony (苦悶の触手)
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn (引き裂かれし永劫、エムラクール)

I copied this decklist from the inventor of Doomsday.
Right now, Miracles is very popular, and I have no experience against the deck.
Rushing River and City of Solitude are good against Miracles.
So is the maindeck Abrupt Decay.

Round 1 - Esper Stoneblade 2-1

I lost Game 1 because I waited.
My opponent started the game with no counterspells.
After 1 Brainstorm he uses Wasteland, so can’t cast Duress and combo in the same turn.
I wait one turn so I can cast Duress and combo, but I gave my opponent time to cast a Vendillion Clique he drew.
He takes my Doomsday, game over.

Game 2 is a long game.
I cast Turn 1 Top, and my opponent counters it with Force (remove Spell Pierce).
I draw all three Burning Wishes.
I cast all my Wishes, and they are all countered.
My opponent also kept in Abrupt Decays for this game, which was a problem.
I win the game because my opponent used all his cards on my Burning Wishes.

Game 3, my opponent plays Ethersworn Canonist.
I won’t lie, I forgot about this card and I had sided out my Abrupt Decay.
However, I topdecked a Burning Wish.
He was depending on Ethersworn Canonist, so Massacre wins the game.

Round 2 - 4c Delver 1-2

Game 1, I fucked up!
My opponent mulligans to five and basically can’t do anything.
He plays a Delver that never transforms.
When he casts a Deathrite Shaman, I Duress him on my turn.
He has nothing.
I miscount a Brainstorm-Burning Wish Pile.
I forgot I needed an extra mana other than my LED mana and my Lotus Petal.
So, I lost an unloseable game.
What is really embarassing is that I thought VERY hard about my combo turn before I even made any actions.

Game 2, I had to fight through Force of Will, Daze, Surgical Extraction, and Snapcaster Mage.
Duress takes Force of Will, so I can win.
I need to find a way to beat Daze and 2 Surgical Extractions.
My opponent plays against me often, so I assume he understands that 2 Surgical Extractions are very strong.
Surgical on LED kills me if I put LED in my pile.
Surgical on Gitaxian Probe removes a free spell, so my combo needs more mana (and makes Daze useful).
Surgical on Doomsday after I combo shuffles my deck. I have Top to look for my spell, but using mana makes Daze useful.
I can protect myself from a shuffled deck by using Cruel Bargain, but my opponent had Deathrite Shaman in play.
I’m at 8 life; I can’t Doomsday *and* Cruel Bargain, or I die to Shaman.
Basically, if my opponent waited to cast Surgical Extraction, I lose.
Unfortunately for him, he uses Surgical Extraction on Brainstorm.
(Surgical Extraction on Brainstorm is bad because I already cast Brainstorm so my hand is perfect.)
He then uses his Snapcaster Mage to flashback Brainstorm.
(Don’t look for disruption, cast the disruption you already have!)

Game 3 was a typical Delver game.
I had the cards to combo, but I couldn’t draw more than two lands.
With no mana, I couldn’t beat one Daze and one Wasteland.

Round 3 - BUG Counterbalance 1-2

Game 1, my opponent starts with Underground Sea, Sensei’s Divining Top.
Wait...what? There is no chance this is a mirror.
He taps all his mana for Tarmogoyf, so I have my chance.
I cast Cabal Therapy and name Force of Will.
He discards a Force, but I also see Counterbalance before I kill him.

Game 2 and 3 are similar.
My opponent counters my Turn 1 Top.
Then, he plays Turn 2 Counterbalance.
I have trouble fighting Liliana, Counterbalance, Liliana, and Duress.
(A non-combo deck playing Duress is very strange!)

I had other things to do, so I dropped at this point.

City of Solitude wasn’t useful at all!
I played against 3 Blue decks...
I brought in City of Solitude in every match...
But I was happy I never drew City of Solitude.

Against Stoneblade, City of Solitude would have been good in Game 2...
However, Stoneblade plays discard and Canonist.
City of Solitude does not help much.
Against Delver, I didn’t draw any lands.
I was lucky: my opponent’s Delvers never flipped.
I don’t think playing 3 mana spells against Delver is easy.
Against the BUG player, City of Solitude will not stop Liliana or Duress.

Also, I really don’t know why, but many players did not sideboard out Abrupt Decay...
